Acceptance
By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using VerifyEmail, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use the service for an organization, you confirm that you can bind that organization. Do not use the service if you do not agree.
The service
VerifyEmail provides technical signals about email syntax, domains, mail infrastructure, recipient acceptance, catch-all behavior, and disposable-email risk. We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue features, while giving reasonable notice when a material change affects a paid service.
Accounts and credentials
You must provide accurate information, keep passwords and API keys confidential, and remain responsible for activity under your account. API keys must not be exposed in client-side code. Notify us promptly of suspected compromise. We may disable credentials or accounts that create a security or abuse risk.
Acceptable use
You may not use VerifyEmail to break the law, send spam, facilitate phishing or harassment, obtain unauthorized access, probe systems without permission, evade limits, overload the service, resell access without authorization, or submit data you have no right to process. You must follow applicable privacy, electronic communications, and anti-spam laws.
Verification limitations
Verification results are point-in-time technical signals, not guarantees that a mailbox belongs to a person, will remain available, or will accept a future message. Catch-all and temporary-email classifications may contain false positives or negatives. You remain responsible for confirmation emails, consent, list hygiene, and decisions made from a result.
API limits and availability
Your account is subject to subscription quotas, concurrency controls, and per-second rate limits shown in the dashboard or API responses. Requests above a limit may return HTTP 429. We may apply reasonable safeguards to protect service stability and may change limits for future plans or where necessary to address abuse.
Subscriptions, cancellation, and refunds
Paid plans renew for the interval shown at checkout unless cancelled. Prices and taxes are displayed before purchase. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you may restore a scheduled cancellation before that date. Except where law requires otherwise or we expressly agree, charges are non-refundable. Approved refunds are returned through Stripe to the original payment method.
Your data and responsibility
You retain rights in data you submit. You grant VerifyEmail the limited permission needed to host, process, transmit, and store that data to provide and secure the service. You are responsible for the legality, accuracy, notices, and permissions associated with submitted data.
Third-party services
VerifyEmail depends on third-party networks and services, including DNS, receiving mail systems, hosting providers, and Stripe. Their availability and conduct are outside our control, and their own terms may apply when you interact with them.
Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, VerifyEmail is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties that cannot legally be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, VerifyEmail and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages, or for loss of data, reputation, or business. Aggregate liability relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid VerifyEmail during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, a material breach, unlawful use, security risk, or harm to the service or others. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms to reflect changes in the service, law, or risk. Revised Terms will be posted with a new effective date. If a material change affects an existing paid subscription, we will provide reasonable notice. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revision.
Applicable law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the VerifyEmail operator, without overriding consumer protections or other rights that cannot be waived in your jurisdiction. Courts with lawful jurisdiction may resolve disputes that the parties cannot settle informally.
